Another marriage of Daksh was done by the daughter of Prajapati Viran's daughter Aasiki. Aasiki was also called Veerani. 60 girls of the were brorn from Veerni –
Maruwati, Vasu, Bhanu, Arundhati, Jaami, Lamba, Sankalp, Muhurt, Aditi, Diti, Sandhya, Vishwa, Danu, Kashtha, Ila, Muni, Aristha, Sursa, Surbhi, Surma, Krodhvasha, Tamra, Timi, Kritika, Ardra, Punarvasu, Rohini, Mrigshira, Sunrita, Pushya, Swati, Chitra, Ashlesha, Megha, Falguni, Hasta, Anuradha, Jyeshtha, Radha, Vishkha, Moola, Ashadha, Sharmisht, Satabhishak, Abhijit, Shravan, Proshthpadas, Rewati, Rati, Swaroopa, Ashwyuj, Bharni, Bhoota, Swadha, Vinita, Kadru, Archi, Dishana, Yamini and Patangi.
Bisvwan was Aditi's son. Manu was born from Biswawan, and we are all descendants of Maharaj Manu.
It is said that during the time of Maharaj Manu, the water disaster took place and only Manu was left. After the water disorder, Ela was born from Manu and Pururwa was born from Ela. Purvarva married Urvashi.

Thirteen daughters of Prajapati Daksh and Prasooti were married with Dharma. The names of these daughters were – Lakshmi, Shradha, Dhriti, Pushti, Tushti, Kriya, Medha, Lajja, Buddhi, Shanti, Siddhi, Vapu and Keerti.

Khyati gets married with Bhrigu Rishi, Sambhooti with Rishi Marichi, Smriti with Angeeras, Preeti with Mahrishi Pulatsy, Sannati with Krit, Anusuya with Mahrishi Atri, Urja with Rishi Vashisth, and swaha gets married with Mahrishi Pitris.

Sati, the daughter of Daksh Prajapati chose Rudra (Shiva) as her life partner against her father’s wish. Rudra is called as Shiva and Shankar.

Apart from this, ten daughters of Veerni and Daksh Prajapati were also get married with Dharma. The names of those daughters were – Vasu, Maruwati, Lamba, Jaami, Bhanu, Sankalp, Arundhati, Muhurt, Vishwa and Sandhya. Thus, the marriage of total twenty three daughters were was done with Dharma.

Thirteen daughters of Veerni and Daksh were married with Maharishi Kashyap. Names of those daughters were – Diti, Aditi, Danu, Kashtha, Sursa, Arishtha, Muni, Ila, Tamra, Krodhvasha, Sarma, Timi and Surbhi. Later these thirteen girls were called Jagat-Janani. From these all the creatures in the world were born. These thirteen girls are called Lokmatas.

Apart from these, twenty seven girls of Veerni were married to Chandrma (The Moon). These were called Nakshtra-Kanya. There names are – Rohini, Kritika, Mrigshira, Punarvasu, Aardra, Pushya, Snirta, Megha, Swati, Ashlesha, Falguni, Chitra, Radha, Hasta, Vishakha, Anuradha, Moola, Jyeshtha, Abhijita, Aashadha, Shraavan, Sharmishtha, Shatabhishak, Proshthpadas, Bharni, rewti and Ashwayuj. The names of the constellations are named after them.

Apart from these, rest nine daughters of Veerni got married like this- Rati, Swaroopa and Swadha were married respectively with Kamdev, Bhoot and Prajapati Angeera. Dishana and Archi with Krishshava, Kadroo, Patangi, Yamini and Vinita were married with Tarkshya Kashyap.

Of these, Aruna and Garuda from Vinita, Naag from Kadru, Patang from Patangi, and Shalabh were born from Yamini. You will read their stories in the following...
